Chamindā de Silva is the Executive Director of the Sri Lanka Association of Software Service Companies (SLASSCOM).  She has over 20 years of experience as an investment banker in the local and international capital markets with in-depth knowledge and skills in General Management, Negotiation, Change management, Portfolio management, Business Valuations, Financial Modelling, Due Diligence, Capital Raising, Power Financing, business continuity management advisory and other transaction advisory consulting. 

Prior to joining SLASSCOM she functioned as the Chief Executive Officer of the Sri Lanka Institute of Directors (SLID). Previously she was with the Horizon Partners Group where she served as a Director of the Management company, she was also the CEO of the investment banking arm of the Asia Capital group, in the management staff of Transaction & Advisory Services at Ernst & Young Australia, and Corporate Finance at Hatton National Bank PLC.

She has an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM), University of NewSouth Wales and University of Sydney, Australia, a Fellow of ACCA, U.K. and holds a BSc (Hons) in Banking & International Finance from the Cass Business School, U.K.
