Hisham Elaraby leads Udacity’s B2G efforts where his team partners with governments around the world to build national tech upskilling programs. Udacity is a Silicon Valley-based online education platform with a mission to power careers through tech education. Hisham joined Udacity in 2017 to lead the establishment and expansion of Udacity in the MENA region

Prior to joining Udacity, he worked at Google as the Industry Head of Automotive and Mobile in the MENA region, leading the execution of Google’s largest ecosystem investment in the region. Hisham has a background in consulting with McKinsey & Company. Prior to that, he obtained his MBA from INSEAD and his undergraduate degree in Economics from the American University in Cairo.

Hisham lives in Dubai with his wife Dina, daughter Talia (7 years) and son Seif (5 years).
