Javier Peña CapobiancoSecretary General, ALES Javier Peña Capobianco has been the mentor and promoter of the Latin American Association of Service Exporters, an international organization that gathers 30 public and private institutions from 16 countries of the region, and he has been the General Secretary of the association from the begining. In addition, he is an international consultant that have worked for different multilaterals organizations and governments, as well as Professor of International Trade in Services at the Catholic University of Uruguay. He is coauthor of several publications related to the globalization of services made for different countries like Chile, Cosa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Uruguay, Paraguay among others. He has participated as a speaker in over 30 international conferences in more than 20 countries. Finally, Javier has been recognized as one of the most influential executives in the Outsourcing sector (The Most Influential Executives in Nearshore Outsourcing 2012). Also, in 2007 he obtained the Best Practice Promotion Services award (ITC - WTO / UNCTAD). He has a degree in International Relations, a postgrade in Economics, a magister in International Business and a MBA. |
