GKX co-creates and publishes business, trade and investment research, market intelligence and insights for executives of today’s Experience Economy. Since its inception in 1993, Mark has overseen the publication of journals for PC World, Microsoft and IBM. The company has also facilitated commissioned research reports/projects on behalf of Business Process Enabling South Africa (BPESA), BMW, Deloitte, Dimension Data, Genesys, Harambee, IBM, Innovation Group, International Data Corporation (IDC), WNS Global Services, SoluGrowth, Servest and various trade and investment agencies. This includes country/industry value proposition and strategy development.


Mark has also directed the creation and production of a diverse number of syndicated qualitative surveys and quantitative reports including the 2020 GBS Benchmarking & Vertical Demand Surveys, 2019 Europe and US BPO Marketplace Reports, 2020 Global Finance & Accounting Investment Survey, 2020 Human Resource Outsourcing & Employee Experience Survey and 2018-2019 Global Customer Experience Vertical Market Survey: Banking, Insurance, Retail, Telecoms.

Mark has presented as a strategist, researcher and futurist at many global conferences and events for organisations such as IDC, BPESA, Customer 360, Customer Experience World, Gauteng Department of Economic Development (GDED), IT Web, Luxury Marketing Council and Trade & Investment KwaZulu-Natal (TIKZN). He has also moderated and event managed (with his team) global webinars and round tables for organisations such as BPESA, Calabrio, CxOutsourcers, DAFZA, Deloitte, Dimension Data, Genesys, Innovation Group, Inspiro, Orbis/SAP, Ryan Strategic Advisory and WNS Global Services.

In addition to his background in research and media, Mark has extensive experience and qualifications in journalism, digital and content marketing and mass media communications. He is a published author of a children’s book, with a fictional series currently under review.
